Ben Hicks trained with Rachel and his wife Effie (our cover drama teacher) at The Arts Educational School.

His television work includes Family Affairs and his theatre work includes The Royal Shakespeare Company season with Antony Sher playing in The Island Princess, The Malcontent and Edward II.  Ben has also played locally at The Queens Theatre Hornchurch as Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet.  He is currently playing (until Sept’04) at Regents Park with Russ Abbot in A Midsummer Nights Dream as Demetrius.

Both Ben and Effie came to Debut to give some invaluable advice to our group 3 students – they worked on both their classical and modern monologue and duologues in preparation for our December 2003 show.
