Trained at Mountview Theatre School, Diana has a degree in Performing Arts. She is both a professional singer, actor and singing teacher.
Diana's career covers many years - her credits range from "Return To The Forbidden Planet" at the Apollo Theatre in Londons West End to working locally for the Queens Theatre in Hornchurch.
Diana has past experience of teaching at many of the top children’s stage schools throughout the country. She teaches many styles of singing from Classical to Musical Theatre. She also works on solo, duet, group, choir work as well as microphone tecnique.
Diana's favorite Debut numbers are "Oh Happy Day" from Sister Act - Seen & Heard Concert at the Brentwood Centre, "Circle of Life" from Lion King - Disney Show at the Towngate Theatre and most recently "An Evening of Festive Song" held at Crondon Park.
She can of course accompany the children by CD backing track, but her talents continue and she will often accompany their singing by Piano and sometimes the less traditional Cello, Guitar, Bass, Saxaphone or Trombone! A real talenmt and love of music and of teaching make Diana an excellent positive role model and singing teacher.
Diana holds an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) certificate. The enhanced CRB disclosure is derived from a check on police records, and from records of those who are unsuitable to work with children and/or vulnerable adults. |
