Sam trained as an Actor at The Arts Educational School in London and is also a gifted Puppeteer teacher and workshop leader for various theatre companies and drama schools.

He has directed youth productions for East 15 Drama School, Spinoff Theatre Company, Strathcona Theatre Company as well as various Creative Partnerships projects in Yorkshire and Norfolk.

He has worked as a speech tutor both privately and for the Arts Educational Drama School. Sam has run drama and puppetry workshops for the Norwich Puppet Theatre, Shakespeare 4 Kidz and The English Experience in the UK, Europe and Australia.

Sam has most recently worked as an Actor and Puppeteer for the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC).

Sam has worked as a cover teacher for Debut for many years and also runs mask and puppetry Debut summer school workshops.

Sam holds an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) certificate.  The enhanced CRB disclosure is derived from a check on police records, and from records of those who are unsuitable to work with children and/or vulnerable adults.
